THE inner workings of how some of the silverscreens’ biggest hits come together will be revealed at a special event to be held in Kendal later this year.
Four of the UK’s leading exponents who have worked on blockbusters such as The Dark Knight Returns, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Star Wars and Harry Potter will be on a comic and film panel at the Lakes International Comic Art Festival in October.
Rob Bliss, Adam Brockbank, Glynn Dillon and Dermot Power all share a passion for comics as creators and will reveal their process, inspiration and trade secrets.
Chaired by lecturer and film curator John McShane, the event will showcase the work of the four artists and reveal how they move from concept to page to screen, revealing the artistry of concept artists as well as the process of film making.
Tickets for all the events at the festival (October 17-19) are on sale now. For the full details visit: www.comicartfestival.com
