SCHOFIELD On Thursday 20th August ERNEST, aged 84years, died suddenly, but peacefully at Summerhill Nursing Home in Kendal. Adored husband of Nancy for 61 years and loving father of Alison and Julie. Papa to Richard, Edward, Alex, Sarah and Catherine. Great Papa to Myron, Josiah, Zechariah and Marley. He will be so missed. On the 1st of Sept-ember at 2.00pm a service will be held to celebrate Ernest’s life. This will be held at St James Church, Staveley and will be preceded by a cremation at 11.00a.m in Lancaster. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to St. James Church Staveley and Age UK., C/o J W Johsnon & Son Ltd., Bridge End, Staveley. LA8 9LZ
