GARNETT JOAN aged 86 years. Passed away peacefully on 25th June 2016 at her home. Formerly of Lindale, recently moved to Grange Over Sands. The loving wife for 62 years of Alan, a dear mum of Michael and Christine and mother in law of Andrea and Eric. Precious and special nana of Tracy, Kelly, Matthew, Dean and Lee. A much loved great nana Budgie to Katie, Lydia, Oscar, Erin, George, Alfie, Dylan, Bertie and Louie and a friend to many. The Funeral Service will take place at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow in Furness on Thursday 7th July at 1:00pm. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Joan’s life, will be given to BHF and may be sent to Alan Postlethwaite, Funeral Director, Main Street, Grange over Sands, LA11 6DP.
