THE Lake Artists Summer Exhibition is coming up fast with the handing in date for work, Sunday morning July 12, at The Hall in Grasmere. Prizes up for grabs this year are the Rheged Award for a figurative work by an artist under 35years, winning £200; The Ophelia Gordon Bell Award for sculpture (£150); the Kent Valley Printers Award for work on paper (£150); and Youdells Award for work in oil or acrylic (£50).
