PEGGED for greatness by everyone from 6 Music to Rolling Stone magazine, The Rainband are coming to Kendal’s Brewery Arts Centre tonight (March 29).

Highly anticipated by critics and fans alike, the group’s new single ‘Sirens’ hits downloads March 30 and sees them adopt a high-sheen production ethic.

Calling on a medley of guitars, keys, smashing drums and the vocal power of frontman Martin Finnigan, ‘Sirens’ cements The Rainband’s seat at independent rock’s head table.

Utilising powerful rhythms and epic melodies it was written and introduced to faithful ears amid the 2013 European shows, and chosen for release after overwhelming crowd reactions.

Alongside Finnigan, co-founder and guitarist Phil Rainey - a former Monaco bandmate of Peter Hook - stamps his mark on the track, whilst drummer Steve Irlam, multi-instrumentalist Joe Wilson and Sam Wilson on bass are more than audible too.

Formed in 2010, The Rainband quickly established themselves on the Manchester music scene, garnering praise from Noel Gallagher and Jim Kerr.
