HAYDN’S Paukenmesse is the centrepiece of Cumbria Choral Initiative's New Year’s Eve concert at St Martin’s Church, Bowness (11pm).
The CCI performance heralds the start of a longer project in which the choir performs all six of Haydn’s great final settings of the mass over the next two years. Soloists are Emily Robinson, Lorna Sherrin, Neil Lawson and Keir McGregor.
