A TRIO of powerhouse rock bands are coming to Carlisle as part of a tour organised by rock TV station Scuzz.

Surrey alt-rockers Press To Meco will be joined by Midlands punks Max Raptor and Yorkshire psych-grungers Allusondrugs for a rotating headliner tour.

The channel has been known to break many UK artists including Enter Shikari, Young Guns, You Me At Six, Bullet For My Valentine.

Press to Meco are a trio on a pursuit to harness their sound into a punchy, driving and visceral powerhouse.

They release their second single ‘Diffusion of Responsibility’ from their debut album ‘Good Intent’ through Best Before Records on February 5.

Allusondrugs are a five piece hailing from West Yorkshire and formed in 2012. Since then their individual sound has caught the eyes and ears of the likes of Kerrang and Rock Sound, plus BBC's Radio One and 6Music stations.

Burton-upon-Trent four-piece Max Raptor combine rock n' roll and a partisan punk attitude.

They recently said of their latest EP, “It ventures into the amalgamation that is the British political scene, depression in men in the 21st century, the resistible rise of right leaning extremist statesmen and the regurgitation of mainstream media production.”

The tour comes to The Brickyard on February 26.
