LANCASTER will be going back to the 70s with a tribute night for Swedish pop legends ABBA.
Featuring all of ABBA's greatest and most memorable hits, Thank ABBA For The Music is a two-hour theatre spectacular capturing all the magic and excitement of one of the world's most successful and entertaining live bands.
The tribute - often hailed as one of the most authentic in the world - incorporates ABBA style vocal harmonies and a full seven-piece live on-stage band.
Performers wear replica costumes, and the show boasts a 'generous sprinkling of fake Swedish humour' and encourages as much audience participation as possible.
The seven-piece band is backed throughout by interactive video projection which, at regular points, depicts key moments throughout ABBA's musical career together with clips of interviews from celebrities and music experts alike.
Children from the Stagecoach Theatre Group in Lancaster will be joining the cast on-stage for a rendition of ABBA’s I Have A Dream just like ABBA themselves did at London’s Wembley Arena back in November 1979.
The event will take place on Saturday May 14.
