KENDAL Choral Society's Music for Celebrations concert promises to be a majestic occasion, featuring tunes such as Mozart's Coronation Mass, Purcel's Come ye sons of Art and Handel's Water Music Suite No 1 in F, that were all penned for royal occasions. Staged at Kendal Parish Church on Saturday, May 13 (7.30pm) under the baton of Duncan Lloyd, soloists will be the Lakeland favourites Emily Robinson and Anastasia Micklethwaite, two voices from Manchester Cathedral Choir and BBC singers, tenor, Philip O'Connor, and baritone, Stuart Orme, plus outstanding trumpeters, Stella and Peter Crompton. The orchestra will be lead by Pam Redman and Ian Pattinson plays organ continuo.
