ILLYRIA, return to Brantwood on Tuesday, August 23 (7pm), with an eagerly-awaited production of the popular children’s book - Roald Dahl’s Danny The Champion of the World.
The performance takes place in Brantwood’s scenic lakeside meadow overlooking Coniston Water and the fells, providing a spectacular backdrop for Illyria’s open air performance.
One of the foremost interpreters of Roald Dahl’s work, Illyria has been able to secure the rights to perform their fifth Dahl title, a magnificent, funny and heart warming story which tells of Danny and his devoted father who live in a caravan and operate the petrol station and garage.
