A COMPELLING story of love, guilt and the corrupting power of greed, is Ulverston Outsiders' latest, much awaited, theatrical offering.
Directed by Jean Hunt, the talented thespians stage All My Sons, Arthur Miller's first great Broadway success, running at Ulverston's Coronation Hall this week from Tuesday, November 14 until Friday, November 17 (7.30pm).
Miller's powerful play centres on thriving businessman Joe Keller, played by Outsiders stalwart Chris Barron, who, during the Second World War, knowingly supplied the American Airforce with defective engines, leading to the deaths of innocent pilots. To avoid the blame, he let his business partner take the fall, but on a Sunday afternoon Joe is confronted by the consequences of his moral actions as a visitor arrives to reveal a secret that will rip his family apart.
