THE Haffner Orchestra returns to the Ashton Hall stage at Lancaster Town Hall on Saturday, June 29 (7.30pm) with Furness born and bred trumpeter Peter Lawrence in the soloist spotlight.
Natalia Luis-Bassa conducts the popular ensemble through a programme of works by Bartok, Holst’s Egdon Heath, Beethoven’s Pastoral symphony and Hummel’s Trumpet Concerto in E flat major.
