THE Apollo Saxophone Quartet brings its thrilling and cinematic ‘classical meets contemporary’ show to Ulverston’s Coronation Hall on Sunday, June 30 (7.30pm).
Formed in 1985, the multi-prizewinning foursome will play music especially written for them by Barbara Thompson, who composed all of the music for ITV's A Touch of Frost, as well as their own extraordinary and hilarious compositions to vintage black and white silent films.
