Sinfonia society series stages Kendal concert for all ages laced with light classical music

MEMBERS of Manchester Camerata return to Lakes Leisure Kendal on Saturday afternoon, December 14 (3.30pm).

Billed as a concert for all ages laced with light classical music, Animal Magic is conducted by Timothy Redmond. The first half comprises a mix of animal-themed pieces, such as Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee, the Waltz from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, and Circle of Life from The Lion King. In the second part, Paul Hine narrates Prokoviev's Peter and the Wolf.
