CHARLOTTE Jackson returns to the solo spotlight for Keswick Choral Society’s spring concert.
The highly respected soprano, and founder and former artistic director of Kendal's award-winning Amabile Girls Choir, is among the well-known line-up for the Keswick choir's concert at St John’s Church, Keswick, on Saturday, April 23 (7.30pm), which opens with Hear my Prayer, a miniature cantata by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. Conducted by the choir’s director Ian Hare, the main work in the concert is Beethoven’s Mass in C Major. Tickets are available from Bookends on 017687-75277 or at the door.
