How to remove a tick...

It is advisable to use a special tick remover or a pair of fine ended tweezers. Wear rubber gloves and grasp the tick as close to the skin as possible. Pull upwards using steady, even pressure and be careful not to leave the mouth parts in the skin. Disinfect the bite site.
