LAW Valerie Dawn (Val) of 16 Maryfell, Sedbergh passed away peacefully at Royal Lancaster Infirmary on 18th July, aged 87 years. Beloved wife of the late David, loving mum of Janet and Duncan, a dear mother-in-law of Grizz and Jill, a cherished grandma and great grandma of Sharon, Jessica, Rachel, Olivia, Jasmine, Alexander, Harvey, Lucas and Casey, a dear sister, sister-in-law, auntie and a friend to many (especially Stanley). A cremation service will take place for family and close friends, followed by a thanksgiving service for all to attend at St Andrew's Church, Sedbergh on Wednesday 2nd August at 12.30pm.
