TAYLOR George Cannon On the 3rd May 2024, George passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, Aged 93. Much loved Husband of Betty, Dear dad to Margaret, Brenda, Christine, Wendy and George; adored by grandchildren and great-grandchildren alike, especially those next generation farmers Samuel, Charlie and Ben. Proud to have been at High Farm, Crook for his entire life. Rest in Peace George, you'll be sadly missed by many people. Funeral service will take place at St Catherine's Church, Crook, on Tuesday 14th May at 11am, followed by tea at High Farm Crook. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Great North Air Ambulance Service and Crook Church C/O A. G. Clarke, The Ashes, Cartmel Fell, Grange-o-Sands LA11 6NU. Tel 015395 31481. Special Thanks to: St Mary's Surgery, Windermere; Windermere District Nurses and Westmorland Homecare, who treated Dad with loving care, dignity and respect. The care he received enabled us to keep Dad at home until the end.
