Bike stolen from back of car in Ambleside

THIEVES stole a mountain bike worth more than £1,000 from a bicycle rack at the back of a car in Ambleside.
The metallic brown Specialized Enduro cycle was taken frrom the Rydal Road car park between 2.30pm and 2.50pm on Saturday.
