Barrow MP postpones Seagull summit as parliament recalled over Syria

BARROW'S MP has postponed a seagull summit following the early recall of parliament..

The MP had organised a summit at Barrow Town Hall on Thursday August 29.

However, today the MP postponed the meeting.

A statement read: "The special summit called by Barrow & Furness MP John Woodcock to discuss the growing problem of gulls in Barrow town and elsewhere has been postponed due to the emergency recall of parliament on 29 August following the escalation of the situation in Syria."

"A revised date for the summit will be announced in the very near future."
