THREE women were sexually assaulted at Cartmel Races yesterday.
Police believe the same man was responsible for all three attacks, which took place between 4.45pm and 5.45pm.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said the attacks happened in the paddock area of the course, near the grandstand.
Officers have released a description of a man they would like to speak to.
He is described between 30 and 40, average build, between 5ft8" and 6ft0" tall, bald with a tanned complexion.
He was wearing a dark purple t-shirt or polo top and dark trousers.
Anyone with any information, or who recognises the description, is asked to call Cumbria Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 55 111.
