WORK to remove a derailed train near Barrow has caused rail disruption throughout Cumbria.
Trains running from Lancaster will be terminated at Ulverston and trains from Barrow will start in Ulverston until at least 4pm today.
A network rail spokesman said workers were on site removing the freight train, which was travelling towards Sellafield at about five mph when it came off the line near Roose, South Cumbria, on Monday.
Replacement buses are running between Ulverston and Barrow.
