A LUXURY accommodation based at Dent Station is to star on national television all next week.
The five-star property - part of the historic station - features in Channel Four TV show Four In A Bed.
The series featuring Dent runs between October 14-18 but with an emphasis on the Dales on October 17 at 5pm.
It involves business owners running tourism properties staying at each others accommodation.
Dent Station is also the highest England station on the spectacular Settle to Carlisle line.
Owner Robin Hughes said he was thrilled that the scenes in Dent were shot during glorious summer weather which will help promote Cumbria to visitors. He is seen opening up the station and its recently-refurbished snow huts.
Also featured is a butchering competition hosted by Sedbergh’s Steadmans.
Said Robin: “Due to the weather and humour, I think it shows Cumbria off at its best.”
