SOUTH Lakeland District Council has forged a link with internet giant Google to bring a digital business programme to the district.

The programme, known as the Google Juice Bar, will be held on November 29 at the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal, from 10am to 12.30pm.

It is part of Google’s national drive to help businesses owners harness new e-skills. So far, over 250,000 UK businesses have been helped through this initiative.

The council says it presents ‘an exciting opportunity’ for South Lakeland businesses to get involved and receive key advice.

The Google Juice Bar has been designed to support and advise businesses from across a wide spectrum. The event will appeal to those starting out and creating their first website, through to businesses wishing to improve their existing website and online marketing.
