Firefighters tackle caravan blaze in Kirkby Lonsdale

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a caravan blaze near Whoop Hall on the A65 in Kirkby Lonsdale.

Cumbria Fire Service attended the incident yesterday morning (Sunday October 27) and it took two fire fighters to finally extinguish the blaze.

The caravan was derelict and left in a lay by away from the road.

Not enough of the caravan was left for the emergency services to be able to tell what caused the fire and is now being investigated by Lancashire Fire Service.
