FIREFIGHTERS across Eden were scrambled after a fire in an agricultural building spread to a car and nearby electricity pole.
At around 2.25pm on Monday crews from Kirkby Stephen, Sedbergh and Penrith attended the incident, on the access road to Oakbank, Barras.
Upon arrival the roof of the building was ‘well alight’ and had collapsed, according to a Cumbria Fire spokesman.
A car, an electricity pole and rubbish were also set alight.
Crews used main water jets to extinguish the blaze and a thermal imaging camera was also used to check for further spread of fire.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
