VISITOR numbers to the RSPB Leighton Moss nature reserve have greatly increased since it featured on BBC TV’s Autumnwatch.
The series, featuring presenter Chris Packham, right, showcased the best of the area’s wildlife including red deer activity and stunning starling murmurations.
Jacqui Fereday, visitor services manager said: “We’ve had more than double the number of visitors we would normally expect in October half-term.”
