THE Lake District branch of the RNLI has celebrated 120 years of unbroken service by holding a special lunch at the Hydro Hotel, Bowness.
After lunch the guests were treated to a talk by Ken Burchall of the Hydro about his first hand experience of being rescued by the RNLI.
A raffle was held which raised £444, while the luncheon realised £2,500.
