ULVERSTON will today celebrate being the first town in Cumbria to be upgraded for super-fast fibre broadband as part of the Connecting Cumbria programme between Cumbria County Council and BT.
Dignitaries including county councillor James Airey and Mayor Judy Pickthall will mark the arrival of faster broadband in the town outside the library on Kings Road at 1pm.
