THE westbound carriage of the A590 has re-opened after a four-vehicle crash at Haverthwaite.
Police were called to the scene near the steam railway at 2.42pm, where a HGV, pick-up truck, van and car had collided.
The male driver of the pick-up and the female driver of the van were transported to Furness General Hospital with minor injuries.
The male driver of a HGV and a male driver of a car received no injuries. Lighter vehicles travelling eastbound are being diverted through Backbarrow village.
