A WILDLIFE website launched six months ago by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority (YDNPA) has attracted more than 12,000 hits.
The ‘Nature in the Dales’ page was created for people interested in wildlife in the national park, showcasing local information about 150 of the species and 14 of the habitats found in the area, accompanied by 300 images.
It also details conservation projects and 18 of the best places to see wildlife. To visit the site, go to www.natureinthedales.org.uk
