STUDENTS at Settlebeck School, Sedbergh, are enjoying the benefits of the generosity of two local companies.

The Sedbergh Soap Company and JMP Foodservice have sponsored the school’s girls’ netball team and junior boys’ football team, which has enabled them to purchase new kit.

Lynsey Goodyear, acting head of Physical Education, said: “Being able to buy new kit for the students is fantastic; their response to it was lovely to see and hopefully we will have some amazing results to match the kit.

“We still have a number of other teams who would benefit from new kit, so if there are any other companies willing to sponsor a team, please contact me at school.”
