A STOMACH-CHURNING video featuring stunning views of the Lake District forms part of a new flight simulator at a top London museum.
Filmed on board a RAF fighter Typhoon, the six-minute clip gives viewers a nausea-inducing cockpit view as the pilot puts the supersonic jet through its paces.
The heart-pounding simulator, called ‘Typhoon: A ride with the best’, is based at London’s Science Museum.
The video was filmed by Metropolis Entertainment together with RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire in the summer of last year.
Flown by Flight Lieutenant Jamie Norris, the current RAF Typhoon display pilot, the adrenaline-pumping footage sees the plane reach dizzy speeds of up to 230mph as it thunders its way through the Lakes.
