AS London fashion week comes to an end, I have watched in envy at some of the world’s greatest designers showing off their newest masterpieces.

From Burberry designer Christopher Bailey sending out model of the moment Cara Delevinge in monogrammed wool wraps to Ashish Gupta, champion of the slogan sweater showcasing his sport-luxe designs with a girly twist.

As I watched from afar it is plain to see from the London catwalks that fashion trends move in cycles – what goes around comes around.

Between 2007 and 2010 boho chic came and conquered and during that time, along with denim shorts and floral dresses came ‘cowboy style.’ And ladies (and gents) it is coming back, yeeha!

I have cowboy boots that I have been relying on for the past seven years and will be devastated when they have to go to ‘shoe heaven.’ And I have always been a MASSIVE fan of cowboy style. I’m not talking about leather chaps and all tan outfits; I’m talking about subtle pieces that won’t have you looking like you’re about to take part in a Texas rodeo.

Again I have been looking at www.asos.co.uk for inspiration. This gingham check shirt with western inspired trims would look fab with some loose baggy jeans. At £58 (reduced from £130) it would be rude not to snap it up.

If you want to go all tassel and rhinestone, these brown fringe cowboy boots from ASOS are beautiful.

See - you can still rock the cowboy look and be subtle, without a leather chap in sight.
