Royal native breed supporter
THE Prince of Wales has agreed to become Patron of the Dales Pony Society, which celebrates its centenary in 2016.
The breed is listed in category II (Endangered) of the Rare Breeds Survival’s watch list, and is one of the rarest of the native ponies of Great Britain.
