Warning to motoris of delays on M6 southbound from Junction 36 after car and caravan jack-knifes
SOUTHBOUND lanes on the M6 are now fully open following a closure due to a jack-knifed car and caravan.
The caravan overturned on the motorway just beyond Burton-in-Kendal services at 10.50am today (April 11).
Traffic was backed up on the M6 all the way to J36/A590 (Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale).
The road is fully open now but there is still some congestion due to the busy holiday traffic and the contraflow in place at Tebay.
