TIME is running out for lake users to have their say on how services on Windermere could be improved.
The Lake Windermere Service Survey 2014 is being carried out by South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) and the Lake District National Park Authority (LDNPA).
SLDC owns the lake-bed, provides public slipways and manages swinging moorings, and the LDNPA is responsible for lake by-laws. The aim of the survey is to gather information on lake usage to inform decisions on future services and facilities.
All surveys must be completed by April 25. The survey can be completed online at: www.southlakeland.gov.uk/lake-survey, or via the link on the Lake Wardens’ Facebook page.
The wardens can also be contacted on: 015394 42753 or email lake.wardens@southlakeland.gov.uk
The final results will be posted on the council’s website.
