Three in court accused of carrying out Cumberland Building Society robbery

TWO men and a woman have appeared in court charged with robbing the Cumberland Building Society in Silloth on Thursday.

They are Kevin Docherty, aged 34, of no fixed abode; and Barry Doswell, aged 25, and Tanya Miller, aged 30, both of Eldon Drive, Carlisle.

Docherty is also charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

They appeared at West Allerdale Magistrates' Court this morning and were remanded in custody.
