A PERSONALISED iPad was stolen from a Kendal town centre shop yesterday (Thursday), say police.

Cops are appealing for information after the white iPad was taken while the shop floor, at A Family Affair on New Shambles, was left unattended.

Officers said the tablet was taken from a desk as workers were dealing with a customer between 3pm and 3.45pm.

The tablet was in a pink case and had personalised engraving on the back.
