A MAN had part of his ear bitten off after his alleged attacker was ejected from a party, say police.

Barrow Police are investigating an allegation of assault that they say took place outside a property on Minster Lane, Barrow, yesterday (Sunday).

The incident occurred at around 11pm after the alleged offender was ejected from a party.

Once outside the offender lunged at the victim and bit part of the victim’s ear off, say cops.

The victim was a 23-year-old man from Barrow. He was taken to Furness General Hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as being 5ft 10, slim build with short mousey-brown hair. He was last seen wearing an England shirt, black jacket and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101 and ask to speak to an officer from Barrow Police Station.
