MORECAMBE and Lunesdale MP David Morris has topped a poll of Tory MPs using social media over the last week.
According to the website socialmps.com, Mr Morris was the top Conservative Party social media user, while overall, he came 13th with a 'social' score of 74.2.
Tweets were analysed for the period between May 20 to 27.
Mr Morris MP said: “Increasingly constituents are turning to social media such as Facebook and Twitter to contact their MP so it is for MP’s to embrace the technology.
"Social media is also an incredibly useful way to let your constituents know what you are doing on their behalf.”

Embattled Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg topped the poll with Labour's Ed Balls second.
Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron was ranked 39th in the last week.
