Army vehicles patrol the Lake District
Updated 2:30pm Wednesday 4th June 2014 in News
The Light Dragoons of the British Army descended on the Lake District to train on its ‘rough and rocky’ terrain on Monday.
Windermere-based off-roading provider Kankku guided two ‘HMTV Jackal 2’ vehicles – recently returned from Afghanistan and now based at Warcop, near Appleby – through Ambleside and Grizedale to give the Army team experience in a new and different type of terrain.
