Car burnt out in suspected arson in Kendal
A car was completely destroyed by fire in 'suspicious' circumstances.
At 2am this morning, Saturday, June 21, police and fire crews were called to Greenside, Kendal, where a car was in flames.
The red VW Polo was believed to have been disused for some time.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen somebody start the fire.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "The vehicle hadn't been used for a long time. Of course it's suspicious because cars don't usually set themselves on fire. We ask anyone with information to come forward."
Anybody with information should call 101.
