AN UNEMPLOYED Kendal man who refused to give a breath sample to police is to be sentenced next month.
Robert Mansford, 50, of Milnthorpe Road, Kendal, pleaded guilty to the offence at South Lakeland Magistrates’ Court.
Mansford was stopped by police on Collin Road, Kendal, at around 10.50pm on June 28.
He was taken to the police station where he refused to provide a specimen.
Sentencing was adjourned while a probation report is compiled. He was given an interim disqualification.
