A PROPERTY has been burgled in Askam-in-Furness.

Cumbria Police said entry was gained to an unoccupied property, on Sharp Street, via a rear alley and then into an upstairs storage area.

The incident is believed to have happened over night between July 30 and July 31.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or any residents who saw anything suspicious to call non-emergency 101 and ask for PC Llewewyn or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
