A NEW gallery in Leck is bringing contemporary international art to rural Cumbria with an exhibition by Spanish artists.
Leck Gallery, near Kirkby Lonsdale, has opened its doors to buyers with a collection of Spanish Pop Art. The show incorporates 11 paintings on a contemporary pop culture theme, including the work of well-known Spanish artist Antonio De Felipe.

One of the most striking paintings in the collection is his lifesize portrait of Audrey Hepburn.
Leck Gallery is in a converted coachhouse in the grounds of The Old Vicarage. It is the first venture into the art world by Janet Nutall, a former probation officer.
Janet said her opening exhibition is a rare chance to see Spanish art of this quality in the region.
