A WALKER was rescued close to the waterfalls at Ingleton after sustaining an ankle injury.
The 58-year-old was plucked from a footpath near Snow Falls by the Clapham Cave Rescue team, at around 5.27pm yesterday.
The man had been descending the footpath at the time.
Volunteers spent 20 hours in total on the rescue.
The man was treated and stretchered to a road ambulance near Beezleys Farm.
