BOOK lovers have borrowed more than 53,000 eBooks from Lancashire's libraries this year.
The digital books are free to download for library members who have smartphones, tablets and laptops. The most popular title so far is J K Rowling's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
There is no need to return eBooks and no overdue fines, as they simply become inactive when the loan expires.
