PLANS to remove an unstable chimney stack at the Skipton Building Society in Kendal's Market Place are before South Lakeland District Council.
According to documents, the stack would be removed and the existing roof line continued. Two rotten timber sash windows would also be taken out and walled up with reclaimed stone.
