THE two minutes' silence on Remembrance Sunday started seven seconds late in Carnforth, Cllr Ken Bond told the town council.
Councillors heard that the November 9 parade was the biggest and most well-attended for some years.
However, it was felt that the front half of the procession moved 'too quickly' for the back half, creating a split.
Councillors also heard there were 'a number of problems' ordering poppy wreaths. They agreed in future to write to all organisations asking them to tell Carnforth Town Council if they would like to lay a wreath.
